2020 Women's March Opens a Year of Action

by Ed Mickens

The fourth annual Yavapai County Women’s March will gather at the steps of the county courthouse in Prescott on Saturday,

January 18, 2020 from 1-2pm

Once again, women (and the men who support them) will come together to take a stand on a wide range of progressive issues, from reproductive rights and health care to education, environment and e quality. “There are as many reasons as marchers,” says Amy Hurst, chair of this year’s event. “This March provides an umbrella for all of them. We want this to be a kickoff for a full year activism.”Hurst, a retired Prescott attorney, heads a grassroots committee of about 20 women who took on the task of organizing late last year.
